Lake Effect Snow
AMS Weather Band hosted a team of scientists who are experts on various aspects of lake-effect snowstorms and who have collaborated on field campaigns designed to better understand and improve forecasts of intense lake-effect storms. They shared lessons learned in conducting field projects in some of the worst winter weather observed in North America.
