We are looking for community and citizen scientists to discuss projects they are working on or have completed related to weather; and what impact these projects have had or are having. These can be any type of project large or small, individual or community. Examples include:
We are looking particularly for amateur weather enthusiasts to share what they are working on and what they are excited about. This could mean observations of local weather, how you’re collecting and using data from your local weather station, weather history you’re researching, or severe weather impacts and recovery in your local community.
And don’t let the idea of being a speaker at a symposium intimidate you! This is a friendly, informal environment and we are looking for short presentations (5-10 minutes long) on topics that you are excited about.
To let us know that you are interested in being a speaker, please fill out the form below by November 19, 2021. Space is limited, so please let us know that you’d like to participate as soon as possible. We will contact you to discuss your project, presentation, and what the next steps might be.
