A Note from Gideon

Welcome to the latest edition of On The Radar!

In this season of Thanksgiving, I have found much to be thankful for. Cool weather as an excuse to get bundled up and cozy, hikes through rainy forests with the scent of wood smoke in the air, and a community dedicated to encouraging my excitement for science and weather! This community is so supportive and engaging and offers so many opportunities to explore and take part in the wonderful world of weather and climate. From webinars to contests to articles, there is no shortage of material to fuel my passion and curiosity. So check out what’s going on this month! I hope you will take part in and enjoy the bounty that AMS Weather Band has laid out before us.
